And there are many more could haves, should haves and would have thoughts, that go nowhere except take us down a path of waste, a state of paralysis of wanting, waiting and being disappointed.
Take stock of when you are stuck in desires. Check when you are holding onto an old pattern of thinking that you have repeated so many times that it is now on auto repeat.
Sit and take a deep breath and take in the following statement (it took me awhile to digest and accept it and I’m still checking where there is desire for a parallel universe versus accepting the one I am in!)
I surrender to what is, not what was, not to what it should be and to what I could be if…I surrender to what is.
