Jumping Out of a Plane

I went skydiving a few years back in Whistler, Vancouver. I relied heavily on my virtue of courage, though I was scared. As exciting as that experience was, it was short-lived. True courage is choosing who I am at every moment and empowering myself to remain in this awareness no matter what. Even if others are going one way, I use courage to stay true to myself. I need strength to hold on to my values at the most challenging times. It takes integrity to align my thoughts with what I say and do. To check my feelings and to face honestly what lies in my heart takes courage. To forgive myself and to forgive others takes compassion intertwined with courage.

Practice:

I the soul am courageous. I activate my virtue of courage by awakening and giving energy to it. I connect to my courage, take its hand and every day perform courageous actions.
